Trailers for the Forum des images festival exploring remix, sampling and the reuse of moving images. Film excerpts, animation and internet culture are edited into new combinations.

An introduction to the mash-up through film excerpts, cut-up typography and visual jokes, made for the festival’s first edition.
Sampling, turntables, film excerpts and online imagery share the same sequence. The second edition took place on 22–24 June 2012.
Cinema and game characters interrupt familiar Parisian scenes. A trailer for the fourth edition, held on 14–15 June 2014.

The trailers use the festival’s subject as their method: take recognisable images, put them next to something unexpected, and let the edit create a different meaning.
Alongside the films, I developed graphic artwork and web adaptations. The 2012 delivery included the festival poster and banners; the 2014 trailer brought film characters and game imagery into Parisian settings.
