THE PROJECT

The city joins
the conversation.

Tennis stories, told from the passenger seat. For Renault × Eurosport, I worked on the post-production and AI visual effects for a five-episode series built around conversations with Renault’s tennis ambassadors.

Their stories spill into the streets: a façade becomes a billboard, players appear as statues, and a city display fills with tennis balls. Each intervention starts with the filmed scene and takes its cue from the conversation in the car.

THE WORK, SHOT BY SHOT

Before / After.

My work combined tracking, photo animation, AI-generated elements and compositing. The challenge was to make every addition belong to the shot: matching perspective, surface texture, light and movement, while keeping the passing cars and people in front of the effect.

01 / ROME · VEHICLE REPLACEMENT

Keeping the shot.

Two background cars replaced in the Colosseum shot, while retaining the Renault, the street and the movement of the original scene.

02 / ROME · AI & COMPOSITING

Tennis, set in stone.

Two tennis statues created and integrated into the brick niches, with scale, shadows and material matched to the architecture.

03 / MADRID · BILLBOARD REPLACEMENT

A different story.

The existing advertising façade becomes a fictional series poster for Francisco Cerúndolo, integrated behind the passing traffic and street furniture.

04 / MADRID · AI & COMPOSITING

Tennis takes over.

A street display becomes a tennis scene filled with balls. The insert sits inside the existing frame and follows the filmed perspective.

05 / PARIS · AI & COMPOSITING

Paris, on screen.

A large screen is integrated into the façade beside the Eiffel Tower, with the building reworked around it and the passing traffic kept in the foreground.
