Summer026

Summer 026 is online. It’s the latest mixtape — and the one that came out of my latest serious crunch.

During that stretch, I gorged myself on vintage MTV videos playing in the background. Hours of Alternative Nation and 120 Minutes, thanks to great YouTube channels like Rewind Vault — and plenty of others. Exactly the kind of shows I used to watch on repeat when I was 20.

The result is very 90s/00s, with plenty of tracks that could have aired on MTV in the middle of the night. To preserve some semblance of eclecticism — or at least the appearance of it — I still slipped in a few discoveries and a few gems. Or not. You decide.
